Опора или угроза: роль греко-македонян в развале державы Селевкидов
Статья посвящена роли греко-македонского населения в коллапсе органов управления державы Селевкидов во второй половине II в. до н. э. — феномену, определившему стремительный закат этого государства. Главным симптомом этого процесса стали частые узурпации власти в Сирии. Их социальной основой служил протест греко-македонян, которые, составляя основу армии и администрации, и получая прямые выгоды от этого, выражали недовольство резким сокращением активности царей после поражения в войне с Римом (192–188 гг. до н. э.).
